Well I guess you could say that this and that best sum up my ‘beliefs’. I have no faith in the religious sense but have strong opinions on the subject of faith and what it does for you.
I love music, beer and comedy (not in that order) and do tecky things for a living.

Why:
Writing regular (and hopefully entertaining) stories about what happens in my life is something I have had done for years. In a way it’s what I do in person but having friends and relatives outside of daily contact, you just don’t get the opportunities to recall something amusing or interesting that happened today. I started this website on 24-Sep-1999, years before blogging became a phenomenon. I created a web site that was basically my favourite sites in a place that everyone could get to. Mostly to stop people asking me ‘how’ and ‘where’ type questions. It then became a playground for me to learn about web technologies and store data like software and passwords. These days it serves as a release valve for the things I want to say out loud but might not have someone around who wants to listen. This way, I’m not exactly holding a gun up to your head – if you are bothered, you’ll read, if you don’t, I’ll never know. Somehow this makes me feel better and that is what keeps me a happier chap….
