Spent the first half of the weekend doing very little and the second half doing very little for different reasons. Saturday we had a lazy day chilling out watching movies and kicking back before we went out to my Gdad’s surprise 90th Birthday party in Netherton. Had a great night with the Trevis family and then came home. At 05.30 I find myself driving the porcelain bus and being sick, just couldn’t understand why and went back to bed. Two hours later, more of the same. And so it went on for most of the day. By now I am feeling very sorry for myself and have started officially making my last will and Heather has called for a priest. Took 24 hours to work itself out of my system. No-one else at the party has been affected so I have no clue what happened. My Grandad had a great time and partied until past 1. He rocks.
In other news, my car is being a pain. It’s now got a lovely pattern of refusing to start if it has been driven in the previous hour. Not normally a problem when I’m at work or going to work but when I nip into a supermarket or have lunch at a pub, its not funny. Its in the garage on Thursday but I think its time to get rid. I’ll open the floor to suggestions, I have two big dogs and a child – my thoughts are a Nissan X-Trail…..

Karen had the same bug on Friday again for no apparent reason.
Nissan X-Trail is a good choice. I have a mate in Blackpool who uses one for towing his rib type boat. However, now you are in the countryside, what about a Freelander? Diesel version are supposed to do 45 mpg. Would look good with Heather’s Green wellies!
X-Trail? It’s another Renault
Freelander? Maybe, but avoid the petrol, plus it’s built in Britain, so quality is hit and miss..
Octavia Estate. Passat Estate. Mondeo Estate if you want a lot for the cash.
The new Freelander looks very sweet and clarkson likes it but its way out of my price range. The old one is minute so no good. Was trying to avoid the coffin carrier if i can help it but may have to settle again for one I guess..lol
