I WAS ABOUT TO GO POSTAL…

Driving in this morning was not fun. A whole inch of snow and people in **4×4** vehicles driving like they had not seen snow before. It’s not like we haven’t had to deal with snow already this year. OMG. It took an hour to do my normal 20 minute journey purely because people can’t drive in these ‘conditions’. There was nothing out of the ordinary snow-wise, just a little care and low revs was all that my dodgy old front wheel drive car needed when I passed 2 vehicles who figured that the best way to get up a hill was to gun it in 1st. It put me in such a bad mood that the first 3 phone calls I took were left in tears. Well not quite, but I had to take a moment and calm down before continuing….

I completely understand your frustration it took me 1 hour 25 min to get to Wombourne this morning, a journey that usually takes me 15 – 20 min! From Baggeridge to Wombourne island was the worst taking me about an hour just to do that bit – absolutely stupid – less than an inch of snow!? Rant over!!

You have to wonder about the way people are taught to drive these days…..
