Last couple of days have just been a blast. Friday was momentous as sorted out the marriage licence, found a replacement wedding ring for me (the one I found was gonna take 4 weeks to arrive) but more importantly it was Heather’s Birthday so she was able to order her first alcoholic drink in an [...]
Today is Heather’s 21st and effectively now able to become my wife and partner in grime back in the UK!!!! Despite her best efforts to sleep in, I’ve managed to get her up as I am far to excited to sleep. Today is the the first of the big ones in our new life together. [...]

My little monkey has the chicken pox. Over night it has spread all over causing an itchy, sleepless moo. Fingers crossed she will be ok to fly and this will be a quick infection.
Well we are in…well not quite as they are not out and the keys are legally handed over until Wednesday, but the big stuff in moved into the new house. I’m just rounding up the last of the cable goblins from their nests behind electrical sockets and setting them free in the garden. I hear [...]
Yesterday we went to two primary Schools to try and get Mills into a decent local one and were impressed by the standards of both of them. One thing keeps popping into my mind though (I noticed it at the time and annoyed me but I let it pass) was the constant use of acronyms [...]
